Music Notes!

Students in Primary have one lesson of music per week and one singing lesson. This takes place in the school's performing arts space.  Students follow the English national curriculum for music.  There are recorders, glockenspiels, percussion instruments, electric keyboards and drums.  There are also djembe drums. Children begin by playing freely with the percussion instruments and tuned percussion. They move on to glockenspiels and recorders in KS1.  Children are encouraged to sing solo and enjoy performing to their peers.
