The New School was established in 1972 by a dedicated consortium of parents and teachers united by a singular vision: to create an educational environment where academic excellence is intrinsically linked to individual attention and the cultivation of personal and social responsibility.

The New School Rome is a non-profit, democratic institution that engages parents, students, and staff as equal partners in the educational process. We deliver a rigorous, advanced British curriculum to both international and local families, fostering holistic development, critical thinking, creativity, empathy, and respect.

By maintaining small class sizes with an exceptional student-teacher ratio, we provide a bespoke educational experience that balances high academic standards with profound pastoral care.
