Art Trip To Venice
New School Rome Art students swapped the classroom for the watery delights of Venice on November 13th, 14th and 15th. The trip which involved Year 12 and Year 13 students was organised by the school's Art department.
The purpose was to inspire the pupils and allow them to experience work by some of the most innovative and creative contemporary artists working today.
On Friday they visited the Peggy Guggenheim musuem and on Saturday and Sunday, the Biennale. Francesca Godfrey who teaches Art at the school said, "the biennale never fails to delight and inspire with its vast array of talent. We throughly enjoyed the guided tours of both the Giardini and the Arsenale".
